Fraud & Abuse Policy

This Fraud & Abuse Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases, accounts, transactions, promotions, and use of services provided by TraxonMedia LTD (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including services operated under the TraxonShop brand available at TraxonShop.

This Policy outlines prohibited activities involving fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, manipulative, or unauthorised behaviour relating to our services, systems, accounts, promotions, payment methods, or platforms.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected misuse and take appropriate enforcement action, including order cancellation, service restriction, account suspension, refusal of service, or reporting to relevant authorities where permitted or required by law.

1. Acceptance of This Policy

By placing an order with, creating an account with, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Fraud & Abuse Policy.

If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not use our services.

2. Purpose

This Policy is designed to help protect TraxonMedia LTD, our customers, partners, systems, services, platforms, and infrastructure from fraudulent activity, misuse of services, unauthorised behaviour, abuse of promotions, payment-related risks, and other harmful or deceptive conduct.

3. Fraud Prevention & Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to help detect, prevent, investigate, and reduce fraudulent, abusive, suspicious, deceptive, or unauthorised activity.

Such measures may include:

  • Behavioural and transaction analysis.
  • Fraud scoring and risk assessment systems.
  • Security monitoring tools.
  • Device, browser, or session analysis.
  • Manual or automated review processes.
  • Use of trusted third-party fraud prevention providers.

We reserve the right to request additional information, documentation, or verification before processing an order, payment, account action, reward, or service request where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, payment security, identity verification, or policy enforcement purposes.

4. Account & Identity Misuse

Users must not:

  • Create accounts using false, misleading, or inaccurate information.
  • Impersonate another person, organisation, or business.
  • Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions, suspensions, promotional limits, or verification systems.
  • Share, sell, transfer, or misuse accounts without authorisation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account, system, or service.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, terminate, or review accounts where such behaviour is identified or reasonably suspected.

5. Order Review & Action

We reserve the right to review, refuse, delay, hold, restrict, or cancel any order where we reasonably suspect:

  • Fraudulent activity.
  • Unauthorised payment use.
  • Suspicious or unusual order behaviour.
  • Abuse of promotions or discounts.
  • Breach of our policies or Terms of Service.
  • Security or payment-related risks.

Where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers, systems, services, partners, or payment infrastructure, orders may be delayed, restricted, cancelled, or automatically refunded without prior notice.

6. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service, restrict access, suspend accounts, remove access to services, or cancel orders where we reasonably believe:

  • A user is engaging in fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, malicious, or suspicious behaviour.
  • There is misuse of promotions, discounts, rewards, referral systems, or services.
  • There is a breach of our policies or Terms of Service.
  • Access restrictions or enforcement measures are being circumvented or evaded.

7. Promotion & Discount Abuse

Misuse of promotions, rewards, referral systems, or discount systems includes, but is not limited to:

  • Use of unauthorised, leaked, manipulated, or expired discount codes.
  • Attempting to exploit pricing, checkout, referral, or system errors.
  • Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage.
  • Artificially generating rewards, referrals, commissions, or discounts.
  • Sharing restricted promotional offers without authorisation.
  • Abuse of free trials, reward systems, affiliate systems, or promotional tools.

Where such behaviour is identified or reasonably suspected, we may:

  • Cancel or adjust the order.
  • Remove discounts, rewards, referrals, or commissions.
  • Restrict future promotional access.
  • Suspend or terminate associated accounts.
  • Refuse future transactions or participation in Company programmes.

8. Automated Activity & System Abuse

Unauthorised automated activity is prohibited, including:

  • Bots or automated purchasing systems.
  • Excessive automated requests or traffic.
  • Scraping, harvesting, or extracting data without permission.
  • Attempts to overload, probe, test, or interfere with systems or services.
  • Circumvention of technical protections, security systems, rate limits, or access restrictions.
  • Use of malicious code, scripts, crawlers, automation tools, or exploit systems without authorisation.

We reserve the right to block, restrict, suspend, or permanently prohibit access where such behaviour is identified or reasonably suspected.

9. Digital Services & Platform Misuse

Users must not misuse digital services, platforms, accounts, subscriptions, authentication systems, media systems, APIs, integrations, or access-controlled features operated by TraxonMedia LTD.

This includes attempts to:

  • Bypass access controls or subscription restrictions.
  • Abuse free trials, promotional access, or reward systems.
  • Circumvent technical limitations or account restrictions.
  • Gain unauthorised access to restricted content, systems, or services.
  • Interfere with the normal operation, performance, or security of Company services or infrastructure.

10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If a chargeback, payment dispute, payment reversal, or unauthorised payment claim is initiated:

  • We reserve the right to suspend or restrict the associated account.
  • We may investigate the transaction and provide evidence to the payment provider or financial institution.
  • Unjustified or abusive chargebacks may be treated as misuse of services or fraudulent activity.

Supporting evidence may include order records, delivery confirmation, tracking information, communications, verification records, account history, usage logs, or other relevant information reasonably necessary to dispute the claim.

11. Investigations & Reporting

Where reasonably necessary, we may:

  • Investigate suspected fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, malicious, or unlawful activity.
  • Cooperate with payment providers, financial institutions, regulators, hosting providers, service providers, or law enforcement authorities.
  • Share relevant information where permitted or required by applicable law.
  • Preserve records, logs, communications, transaction data, or evidence relating to investigations, disputes, or security incidents.

Determinations under this Policy may be based on automated fraud systems, internal reviews, payment provider alerts, behavioural analysis, security monitoring, third-party reports, or other reasonably available information.

12. Policy Evasion

Users must not attempt to circumvent, evade, bypass, manipulate, or interfere with:

  • Restrictions or suspensions.
  • Verification measures.
  • Security systems or fraud prevention tools.
  • Promotional limits or controls.
  • Enforcement actions applied under this Policy or any other Company policy.

Attempts to evade enforcement actions may result in additional restrictions, permanent account suspension, refusal of service, legal action, or further enforcement measures where reasonably necessary.

13. Cancellation Rights

Where fraud, misuse, payment risk, abuse, suspicious activity, or policy breaches are reasonably suspected, we reserve the right to:

  • Refuse cancellation requests.
  • Cancel orders.
  • Restrict transactions or account activity.

14. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from:

  • Fraudulent or unlawful activity by third parties.

  • Restrictions, delays, cancellations, or enforcement actions carried out under this Policy.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
